ABOUT
STROKE Nutritional Programs
We are proud to offer a personalized and professional nutrition service for our clients, as we believe that nutrition is a key component of our personal training program. We have in-house certified nutritionists who develop nutritional plans for practitioners based on their body types and goals in the program. Our nutritionists take into account various factors, such as your age, gender, weight, height, activity level, medical history and preferences, to create a customized and balanced diet plan that suits your needs and preferences. Our nutritionists also modify the nutritional plans for blood flow, stamina or muscle endurance, depending on the type of practice that you choose and the trainer that you work with.
Here’s how different trainers motivate and implement these nutritional plans into their training styles based on their unique backgrounds:
• Pylo /Agility trainers focus on dynamic and high-energy workouts, so they encourage clients to fuel up with the right mix of macronutrients for endurance and recovery. They might use their knowledge of sports nutrition to emphasize the importance of timing meals and snacks for optimal performance, teaching clients how to prepare quick and nutritious pre-workout snacks or recovery shakes that align with the nutritionist’s guidelines.
• Strength trainers understand the crucial role of protein in muscle repair and growth. They motivate clients by tracking their progress and adjusting their diet based on the nutritionist’s plan to ensure they’re getting enough protein to support their strength training regimen. They also educate clients on the benefits of nutrient-dense foods for building lean muscle mass.
• Cardio/Endurance trainers are all about stamina and cardiovascular health. They help clients implement their personalized nutrition plans by incorporating heart-healthy foods recommended by the nutritionist. These trainers might also organize group cooking sessions or grocery store tours to teach clients how to choose the best foods for sustained energy.
• Reiki trainers take a holistic approach to wellness, aligning their energy work with the nutritionist’s advice to promote overall health. They encourage clients to be mindful of their eating habits and choose foods that enhance their energy flow, offering guidance on how to create a peaceful eating environment that complements their Reiki practice.
• Yoga trainers often integrate the principles of balance and harmony into their dietary suggestions. They might start a session with a discussion on the importance of a balanced diet as per the nutritionist’s plan, showing clients how to incorporate flexibility-enhancing foods into their meals to support their yoga practice.
• Martial Arts trainers use discipline and precision to guide their clients’ nutritional choices. They reinforce the nutritionist’s advice by demonstrating how a well-rounded diet can improve reaction time and power. They might also use traditional martial arts philosophies to teach the importance of respecting food as a source of strength and vitality.
Our nutritionists work closely with our trainers to ensure that the nutritional plans are aligned with the training styles and the fitness and wellness goals of our clients. They also monitor and adjust the nutritional plans as needed, based on the feedback and progress of our clients. Our nutritionists are always available to answer any questions or concerns that you may have regarding your nutrition and health.
